Restart your iPhone
Restarting serves as the quickest and simplest way to fix an issue on an iPhone. In this case, it may do the job. To restart your iPhone, you simply need to press and hold on the On/Off button until you see the “Slide to power off” screen.
If the above-mentioned solution doesn’t work for you, trying putting your iPhone into recovery mode. Basically, when in recovery mode, iTunes allows you to restore your iPhone to factory settings. Here is how you can do that.
Step one: First off, you need to turn off your device. To do this, you simply need to press and hold down the On/Off button until you see the “slide to power off” screen
Step two: Once you are done, you now need to press and hold down the volume button (iPhone 7/7Plus) and home button (older iPhone models)
Step three: Next up, plug your iPhone into a Mac and launch iTunes
Step four: Finally, release the home button or volume button when you see Connect to iTunes screen.
If the problem still persists, try using DFU mode. Here is how you can do that
Step one: First off, you need to launch iTunes on your Mac. After that, you simply need to connect your iPhone to your Mac to proceed
Step two: Next up, you now have to power off your device
- When your iPhone turns off, hold down on the On/Off button for 3 seconds. After that, press the home button (Make sure that you keep holding on the On/Off button). If you are now using a modern iPhone model like iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, you need to press the volume button while still holding the On/Off button.
- Keeping holding both buttons for 10 seconds. Once you are done, release the On/Off button while still holding the home button or volume button (iPhone 7/7Plus).
Step three: Once you are done, your iPhone will enter the DFU mode. After that, you will get a popup asking you to restore your device.
