There are a few days left; the annual WWDC conference will be taking place. Like previous years, you can watch this event online.
For those who still don’t know, WWDC stands for Worldwide Developers Conference and it’s an annual Apple event. The upcoming conference will be held in San Jose, California from June 4 to June 8. In several days taking events, we will see a live keynote from the CEO Tim Cook. He will reveal what Apple has been working on lately.
After the day one keynote, there will be multiple sessions that allow developers to attend and meet with over 1,000 Apple engineers. Some of them will be streamed as well.
What is the Timing?
Apple has recently confirmed the date and time of the opening keynote for WWDC 2018. It will kick off at 10 AM PST on June 4. The keynote address and the four-day event will be hosted at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.
How To Watch WWDC 2018 Keynote Online
Although Apple doesn’t announce its live-streamed events to be embedded online, people can take advantage of Apple’s own apps and sites to watch them in real time.
How to Watch The Event On Mac
If you are using Mac, you can watch the keynote on Apple’s Events page. All you need is opening Safari browser on your Mac which is running Sierra 10.12 or higher.
How to Watch The Events on Windows 10/8/7 PC
Windows users could stream the keynote too. Windows 10 users can use the Microsoft Edge browser to watch the event. Older versions may access the live stream using Firefox and Chrome browsers.
How to Watch The Keynote event on iOS
If you intend to want the keynote on your iOS device, then you just visit the same Apple events page, and you will be able to watch the WWDC keynote stream on iPad or iPhone running iOS 10 or higher. You can also use The WWDC app for iDevices, which contains the keynote’s live stream as well.
Besides, an Apple Events app is also available. Although it doesn’t offer a complete WWDC experience, it allows users to access each of the keynotes hosted in recent times.
How to Watch The Keynote on Apple TV
You can also use your Apple TV to see the keynote in real time, but make sure your Apple TV is 2nd gen or above and running on the latest tvOS. From the menu screen of the set-top box, scroll down until you see the tab for WWDC keynote. From there, you can watch the stream.
What We Can Expect from WWDC 2018 Keynote
In developer sessions, Apple is expected to announce various changes to platforms. We may see a new version of iOS, MacOS, tvOS, macOS, and watchOS. The opening keynote also included hardware speeches last year, when Apple introduced iMac and MacBook Pro lines.

At WWDC 2017, there was also a brand new HomePod and iMac Pro previewed. So, this year, it is rumored to launch a retina display based on 13-inch MacBook. An affordable Beats-branded HomePod may also be announced, and probably an iPad Pro inspired by iPhone X’s design, as well as a new iPhone SE2.
