How to set up a workout playlist on your Apple Watch
Step one: First off, launch the Apple Watch app from your iPhone’s screen and then make sure you select the My Watch tab at the bottom of the screen
Step two: Scroll down a little bit and select Workout. Once you are in, navigate to the Workout Playlist at the bottom of the screen and select your preferred playlist.

In watchOS 4, your music app automatically launches whenever you wake your smartwatch’s screen while you are playing your favorite tracks. If you find this feature annoying, you can disable it. Here is how.
Step one: Launch Settings on your Apple Watch and then hit General
Step two: Now just simply turn off the switch for Auto-Launch Audio Apps to complete the task.
