Apple will reveal part of iPhone OS 4.0 on April 8

The new OS will support multi-tasking and its interface will be significantly changed from previous editions. Apple is expected to introduce the system on January 27, simultaneously with a tablet PC.

Earlier this month Cupertino announced that planned a special event in late January. It is assumed that personally CEO-Steve Jobs will show the “new product” from Apple. The demonstration will take place in San Francisco.

Meanwhile, appleinsider.com spread the news that a tablet from Apple will see it was not until June, but not the end of January. The newspaper even hot right price points, but still shrouded in mist product and it is 999 dollars.

Apple’s “new work” really will be a device that combines the capabilities of the iMac and iPod Touch and more like the player than a computer. Building on processor ARM, will serve as a widget games, surfing the Web, watching videos and reading electronic books.

There is still no accurate data for hardware changes, but it appears evidence of testing of the new OS. In the photo below clearly visible versions was released so far.

Currently, it is clear only that from Apple only tested the new software and (most likely) hardware without clear indications of when it will appear on the final version.

Typically, from Apple to announce new models in January and put them on sale in June. It is expected the company to continue its traditions.

The new version should fix most commonly reported problems: iPhone suddenly losing network access (side note: this has occasionally happened to me even before version 3.1), video stream crashing, and the device not waking from sleep in certain situations.

1. Send an MMS: The iPhone can finally send picture messages like any phone from 2004. It can if you’re on pretty much any carrier but AT&T. For one reason or another, AT&T isn’t going to be supporting MMS until “late summer”, though it already seem to work for some people and others have successfully persuaded AT&T customer service reps to enable the functionality on their account.

When you let go, you’ll have the option to “Select”, “Select all”, or “Paste”. The “Select” option will spawn a little overlay – drag that around to find the text you want, then hit copy or cut. Go somewhere else, hold, paste.

8. Shake to undo: Write a really nasty text message to your boss, count to 30, and then shake the iPhone. Hit “Undo”. Or don’t shake it, hit “Send”, and run away to the Bahamas.
