Iglezhda Prince of Persia classic will be in the App Store sometime in late June. For those unfamiliar with the game, Prince of Persia is a platform title that came to light during the 80′s along with other classic games like Super Mario Brothers, but clearly distinguished from them because of its beautiful graphics, smooth animation and rewarding battle system. Today by The Wall Street Journal and Engadget reported that the next generation of iPhone smartphones will be named iPhone HD. Furthermore the announce the iPhone HD and iPhone OS 4.0 will be on June 22 this year.

Taiwanese manufacturer of phones, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, said it would continue with the production of smartphones for Apple. This time, however, there will be two versions of the new generation iPhone – the difference between them consists of the fact that one of them supports standard CDMA. It only subscribers can benefit operators Verizon, Sprint and Bell (Canada).

According to appleinsider.com, the mobile device will have a processor Apple A4, which is used in the “big brother” of the iPhone – iPad. The device will have a camera for 3G calls and maintain networks UMTS/HSDPA and GSM/EDGE.

Another noticeable thing about the new features of iPhone is its resolution – 960×640 pixels. In that resolution without any problems can be viewed and HD video.

However, the most noticeable improvement in the iPhone 4.0 will be multi-task support for third party applications.

OnLive Service Let You Play Crysis on iPhone

New service will allow iPhone owners to transfer game running on their computer directly to their mobile device. During the DICE Summit, OnLive showed how the game will be streaming from PC to Apple’s smartphone. The new technology allows to run Crysis “quickly and smoothly” as the game goes and renders on computer that sends images to the phone and it returns in the opposite direction of the management. In fact it may be more difficult because there are many factors that impede the normal control. OnLive will be limited to the iPhone and will probably be used on tablets – maybe we’ll see this technology and the iPad.

Since Apple has now come out with the iPad the big question is – will the Apple iPad have the success that the Apple iPhone has? First let’s compare the two products – both the iPhone and the iPad pretty much have the same applications available such as the internet, email, photos, maps and watching videos. The iPad is much larger than the Apple iPhone and one of the greatest advantages with the iPad is that you can see the websites as a whole page and view pictues in a larger scale as well as looking at google maps in a more broader view.

With the iPad you will not have to do a lot of scrolling unlike using the Apple iPhone. The iPhone has great capabilities but it is a lot smaller than the iPad and that is what makes the iPad more desirable to use because of the larger view you can get from it. The Apple iPhone even though it is smaller and more compact it is easier to carry around with you but that still doesn’t compare to the iPad as far as usability – being able to view content in a larger view.

Even though most people are out for what is convenient for them such as being able to carry around the iPhone in their pocket or in a small carrying case it still doesn’t compare to the larger iPad as far as being able to view web pages and other applications in a more broader area. That being said the usability of the iPad very much outweighs the convenience of the Apple iPhone. Most people are used to using their home computers and will appreciate the iPad in a sense that the iPad is like carrying around a portable computer with all of the up to date applications.

The Apple iPad is going to be a great success and is the next best thing to a personal computer compared to the iPhone. Who knows, the Apple iPad may even in the future replace the use of the notebook computer as far as using it for business purposes and more.

Opera is ready with Mini browser for iPhone

Norwegian company Opera is ready with a new 5 Opera Mini browser for iPhone. They will show ot on Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona.

The message is bold: Opera claims that Opera Mini is faster than Apple Safari. The developers are positive that this is due to the use of compression which shrinks a web page with up to 90% before it sent to your mobile device.

Opera Mini 5 will have other nice features such as tabbed browsing, automatic management of passwords and others. Synchronization between the desktop browser and mobile browser is also provided.

Opera already had some success in placing its Java-based cell phones such as BlackBerry or on the Android smartphones. Debut of the new Opera Mini will be next week before a narrower audience.

7 million requests for Flash to iPod touch and iPhone in December

About a year ago Adobe and Apple announced they would work together to provide users of Flash to iPhone and iPod touch. As you may guess the project is clearly not advanced much since we have not heard anything about the subject. Instead, relations between the two companies are very strained and Steve Jobs even called Adobe “lazy”. We do not know what in fact they do work in Adobe but it appears that in December the company’s servers have been targets of 7 million queries for iPod touch and iPhone to download the software. If this is not a figure that can motivate Adobe to work faster and Apple reconsider their position to allow the standard in mobile phones we really do not understand what could be motivating.

First Screens of the New iPhone OS 4.0

Screenshots appeared in the Internet and specifications of the expected operating system iPhone OS 4.0. It will be used on iPhone 3G and 3GS except the first generation iPhone, reports website Boy Genius Report.

The new OS will support multi-tasking and its interface will be significantly changed from previous editions. Apple is expected to introduce the system on January 27, simultaneously with a tablet PC.

“Dual core” iPhone 4G c OLED will appear in April

Korean operator KT Telecom announced an exclusive contract with Apple for the realization of next-generation iPhone. In an interview with representatives of the operator became clear that the fourth generation cult smartphone will be equipped with dual-core processor, improved graphics chip, OLED-display, video chat feature and removable battery. KT Telecom is preparing to start implementation of the iPhone 4G in April this year and the models will initially be limited only to corporate clients and high-volume sales of the new model will begin in June.

Raytheon Company is the largest contractor to the U.S. Army and it has undertaken a difficult task to turn the smartphone into a modern instrument of warfare. Raytheon will develop a series of applications that are designed for soldiers involved in military actions in areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

The first scheduled program is called One Force Tracker. Through satellite positioning and connection with mobile networks the program will display constantly renovated map of the battlefield on the screen of the Soldiers’ iPhone. It will be depicted the actual positions of friends and enemies.

Applications will run on regular iPhone devices. In terms of hardware they will not be diffirent from ordinary iphones. The goal is to save money.

On the Internet there were rumors that the Apple already placed orders with Foxconn for the production of Apple iPhone 4G, which will probably appear soon.

According to the data published the fourth generation mobile device will include in itself a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus. Other specifications are not yet clear but probably there will be slight changes in the body of the phone. However, the basic design will be preserved.

It is not yet clear when it will appear but there are rumors that this will happen in March when it is expected to appear with the tablet iSlate.
