The joy of canadian iPhone users and Skype fans was too short after release of the application’s mobile version. It seems that Skype has a patent problem linked with a codec which is used by the application and this is why they can not offer it in the local version of App Store. The company did not reveal any information so there is nothing left for the canadian users but to find a way to get to the application somehow.
