iPad inspired 177 thousand messages per hour on Twitter

The new creation of Apple called the iPad has led to a wave of messages that overwhelmed Twitter during the first hour after the official presentation. Information is from Trendrr.com.

iPad tablet presentation made people flood the social network Twitter with 177 thousand reactions. This makes nearly 3000 messages per minute. Analysts determine the activity and size of reactions as exceptional. After the initial peak activity decreased but it has remained for long at a level of 75 000 messages per hour or 1000 every minute.

Apple’s new device is presented as something between a smartphone and a notebook. Emphasis is on the big touch screen which is a major focus of the device. There is also a function iBooks which allows users to buy and read books. All available software applications are designed specifically for iPad in order to maximize the potential of touch screen.
