iPad tablet was taken over by hackers in the first day of its release on the market. Pundits of the iPhone Dev Team have made access to the device file system, using sophisticated methods for unblocking iPhone OS 3.1.3, announced macnn.com.
Hackers have taken advantage of a vulnerability in the browser, Safari, to place on the iPad unregistered applications.
iPad is the “hottest” product these days. Tablets market debut on 3 April, thousands of Americans ran out of the queues in front of Apple stores and Best Buy, to get the device first.
According to data from Piper Jaffray, Apple managed to sell between 600 and 700 thousand tablet on the first day, exceeding earlier estimates, close to 300 thousand units. It is not inconceivable tablet sales will exceed those of the iPhone.
