Since Apple has now come out with the iPad the big question is – will the Apple iPad have the success that the Apple iPhone has? First let’s compare the two products – both the iPhone and the iPad pretty much have the same applications available such as the internet, email, photos, maps and watching videos. The iPad is much larger than the Apple iPhone and one of the greatest advantages with the iPad is that you can see the websites as a whole page and view pictues in a larger scale as well as looking at google maps in a more broader view.

With the iPad you will not have to do a lot of scrolling unlike using the Apple iPhone. The iPhone has great capabilities but it is a lot smaller than the iPad and that is what makes the iPad more desirable to use because of the larger view you can get from it. The Apple iPhone even though it is smaller and more compact it is easier to carry around with you but that still doesn’t compare to the iPad as far as usability – being able to view content in a larger view.

Even though most people are out for what is convenient for them such as being able to carry around the iPhone in their pocket or in a small carrying case it still doesn’t compare to the larger iPad as far as being able to view web pages and other applications in a more broader area. That being said the usability of the iPad very much outweighs the convenience of the Apple iPhone. Most people are used to using their home computers and will appreciate the iPad in a sense that the iPad is like carrying around a portable computer with all of the up to date applications.

The Apple iPad is going to be a great success and is the next best thing to a personal computer compared to the iPhone. Who knows, the Apple iPad may even in the future replace the use of the notebook computer as far as using it for business purposes and more.

Microsoft is considering the possibility to create a specialized version of its Office package for the tablet iPad. Such information appeared in various websites which refer to Mike Tedesco, product manager at Microsoft.

The more people know about the iPad, the less they want to buy it, reveals a curious new study quoted by PC World. Mayby we just have over-expectations?

The study confirmed that iPad is the least exciting new Apple product in recent years. Retrevo, an online store for consumer electronics asked 1000 of its customers for the device. According to the answers the big event on January 27 seems to discouraged interest in people, rather than inflame it.

“This is not surprising – the authors comment on PC World – given that Apple just released a bigger and much more expensive iPod touch. The product is definitely a big disappointment.”

Here’s what the survey shows more of the electronic shop. Undoubtedly rumor spread quickly. The number of people who have heard about the device were about 37% before the big announcement and during the event on January 27 has increased to 80 percent, say by Retrevo.

However, unfortunately for Apple, the number of respondents who said they had heard about the device but do not want to buy it has doubled from 25 percent before the announcement to complete 50 percent immediately after the announcement.
Well of course the remaining 50% who want to acquire the fashion widget are a sufficiently large mass to ensure success of the iPad. According to the authors of PC World, it is unlikely that Apple’s new device may be necessary as a business technology if you will and to work with Windows 7 but fun – things such as games and reading e-books – can bring success to iPad.

Analyst: Apple earn $208 of each $499 iPad

The new tablet from Apple which base price is $499, actually cost the company about $270 in the form of materials and production costs, Wall Street analyst Brian Marshall, working for BroadPoint AmTech, revealed on 29 January.

According to the accounts of Marshall, the value of a 16GB, WiFi iPad is just $270.5. This figure includes $10 for the production itself but does not include $20 for service charges within the warranty period which if added the cost per base iPad is $290.5 which led to the return of Apple sales to 42.9 percent.

The most expensive component in the list of the analyzer is 9.7-inch LCD touch screen, which is valued at $100. 16GB of memory and its aluminum box cost about $25 while the chip Apple A4 has been identified as 15-dollar cost.
